Release Notes

By Marten Bjork

In August 2022, we released several new updates, including filter support for condition groups, enhanced filters for trigger & get nodes, list selectors, another Mailchimp integration, and many more. On top of that, we have also fixed 42 bugs, making the product more robust and user-friendly.

Let’s learn about these new features and updates in detail.

Updates

Filter now supports condition groups

For this release, we have added a new filter group functionality feature that allows users to filter by what they need. The filter node supports triggers and Get nodes. Condition group is like a parenthesis that you can use for conditions.

There are two buttons in the filter section, namely Add Condition and Add Condition Group. The Add Condition button allows users to add one condition at a time. Whereas the Add Condition Group button allows users to add multiple if conditions at one time.

Trigger and Get nodes now support enhanced filters, including condition group

Webflow and Airtable Get node now support the filter feature, including the condition group. We have updated the Byteline console with an enhanced filter feature. In this new feature, a new condition group feature is available for the users to streamline the data scrapping. Users can add multiple filters under the condition group head.

List selector

We have added a list selector feature in the filter node that allows Users to pick a list for which the data will be filtered. After specifying the list, the user can configure the filter condition. The main purpose of this update is to enable the user to filter the data per the specified conditions.

Added refresh button on the run history page

The run history page now has a refresh button. With the help of the refresh button, Users can check the status of multiple runs happening at one time and have a hassle-free experience.

Integration: Added resend Mailchimp campaign

Mailchimp Campaign feature has been added to the Byteline console. The purpose of this update is to enable Users to resend the email only to people who did not open the first email. To resend the email campaign, Users will have to configure the Schedule Trigger Node and Mailchimp Node.

Once they have configured the nodes, they can specify the Mailchimp list and select after how many days of the original send time the campaign should be sent. Users can also choose the time for the campaign to be sent. It can be the same time as and when you ran the flow, or it can be scheduled.

42 bugs and product usability issues were fixed

We have been focusing more on reducing errors. This is why we have fixed over 42 bugs in the August release to make the Byteline platform more stable and user-friendly.
